Biography

Michael M. Rook is a learning scientist; design enthusiast; developer of learning technologies; previous K-12th grade computer science, mathematics, and music teacher; and previous higher education instructor of multimedia, design thinking, and disruptive technologies in teaching and learning. After receiving his Ph.D. in Learning, Design, and Technology from Penn State, Michael served as the Postdoctoral Scholar of the Krause Studios for Innovation. Michael has served as AAAS Science and Technology Policy Fellow with the National Science Foundation in the Office of International Science and Engineering, and in the Division of Research on Learning in Formal and Informal Settings. Currently, Michael serves as Science Analyst in the Division of Undergraduate Education within the Education and Human Resources Directorate
